Affiliate Marketing Blueprint 1

October 27th, 2009  / Author: Link Master

A Blueprint as I have stated before serves as a model or provides guidance. It is a detailed plan or program of Action. There are probably as many blueprints as there are products to sell, and some products might need a different blueprint from another depending on just what that product might be. All blueprints follow a certain pattern or formula though, and mainly breaks down the whole picture into a structured process. A step-by-step set of events that lead us from a starting point to an end.

If You Wanted To Create A Blueprint

So if you wanted to create a blueprint for Affiliate Marketing the starting point would be figuring out what market, or niche interest you and what Affiliate Programs offer you a product for that market or niche, and signing up. That would be the Idea stage, or vision of what you want to build.

Lets say we were building a house. You couldn’t just go to out and pick up a truckload of lumber and tell yourself I am going to build a house today, now could you? Of course not, you would need a plan. You would have to envision what type of house you would want to live in. Go to an architect and have that vision put into plans and have a blueprint made. You would then follow that blueprint to build your home and make your vision what you wanted it to be.

What Would We Need?

So what would we need for our Affiliate Marketing Blueprint?

• Product – Our Idea or Vision

• Research – Our architect – Is our market profitable and what is our competition – Can we drill down into market for less competition?

• Keywords – What kind of material are we going to use to build?

• SEO – How are we going to use our material for best structural strength?

• Website or Blog – What contractor would be best for us to use to build our home?

• Domain name – Our foundation!

• Hosting – Our walls begin to go up.

• Site Layout – The roof goes on! Planning our course of attack.

• Link Structure – Our furnace!

• Creating Our Site – Our plumbing!

• Getting Indexed – Our electrical!

• Adding Our Links – We now have a garage.

• Promotion – The landscaping is done.

• Traffic – The driveway is in.

• Evaluation – Move in day. Now that we are home, do we need to change anything?

• End – If all is good, build another house and repeat.

It is easy to get side tracked if you do not focus on one idea at a time. Don’t let yourself get distracted by other Ideas, or visions. Stick to building one house at a time, and you will soon have a city. If you try to build the city first you will never have the home.

I will be breaking this all down in more detail for you in later posts so I hope you will check back with me, but for now I hope this has helped point out just how important it is to have a plan of action BEFORE you get started. I would recommend that you at least have all of these things on paper before you start any program. I know it looks like a lot to do but it really isn’t.

This is meant to be a guide for you to follow and keep yourself on track. You can change whatever you feel will help you come up with your own blueprint. This is just to show you that having a plan of action is better then just throwing things together and calling it a home.

What Do You Do Next

October 23rd, 2009  / Author: Link Master

Ok, now that you have had a chance to write some ideas down, and have searched out what you are really interested in doing, comes the time to step back and say, What Do I Do Next?

The first thing is you are going to ask yourself a couple more questions.

Geese what is it with all these question anyway?

I knew you were going to say that.

Ok, lets get serious here. I hope you at least wrote down a few things that interested you, and that you did the quick research to see if they were marketable and what your competition might be for the topics you liked.

Potential To Make The Most Money With The Least Competition

Out of the list of topics you want to find the one that has the potential to make the most money, with the least competition and I will tell you why in a moment.

The one with the most ads, usually comes with the most competition, and the one with the least competition usually come with low marketability, so out of your list you have to ask yourself which one is kind of in the middle. That is the one you want to start with.

Go to Google enter each topic in quotes one at a time and answer these questions for each and write it next to each topic.

What is the resulting page count for this topic? – (Results 1 – 10 of about 308,000,000 for “golf”)

What is my competition? – (How many pages deep for ads) If past 10 then very competitive, or your term is too broad. Use Page count.

If they are all pretty even then pick the one that you think will be the most profitable for you, but I think you will find one in the middle somewhere.

You Want To Find The One In The Middle

The reason you want to fine the one in the middle is that you want to make money as easily as you can, and soon as you can. If you choose something to competitive, your chances of ranking high enough to receive the traffic you need, will be hard to do. If you choose something that the competition is to low the traffic again will not be profitable for you. This isn’t always the case but a general rule. Always do your research before jumping into something.

That brings me back to our original question of, What Do You Do Next?

Ok, you have narrowed things down to something that you are interested in, researched its marketability and competition. Now what you need is a Plan Of Action, or a Blueprint.

You Need A Map

If you want to go on a trip, or build a house you need a map, or a blueprint to help guide you and keep you on track. You have all the material, now you just need the blueprint to help you put it all together.

This Is No Different

This is no different. It is too easy to get side tracked, to make the wrong turn and then you are lost. We use these things in our daily lives to get us to where we need to be, to build something we can live in. It only makes sense that we would want to have one for this purpose too.

Try to go into a bank and get a business loan without a business plan. Not going to happen. The bank is going to want to see how you are going to structure your business, or simply how you’re going to put all the pieces together. They want to see your blueprint.

Blueprint – (serving as a model or providing guidance); a detailed plan or program of action.

So I guess we need one of those. I better see if I can find my tools. Hmmm, What did I do with my hammer?

Where Do You Start?

October 22nd, 2009  / Author: Link Master

You generally want to choose one thing at a time and make your site specific to that one thing. A lot depends on what your interests are. Take Weight Loss for example. You would want to pick a specific program or technique for losing weight, instead of having a list of five different programs for visitors to choose from.

You wouldn’t look as professional promoting five different programs for the same thing, now would you. But then again, would if you chose something like Golf. Now your main topic of your site would be about golf, but there are many things you could incorporate into a site like that which would relate to your main topic. Here are some examples – techniques for putting, your swing, you’re driving. You would also have products like bags, clubs, and accessories of all sorts of things. But your focus should remain on the topic of golf and not the accessories of the game of golf unless your website was focusing on a specific brand of golf bag, clubs, shoes or whatever.

As you can see that first question is not the easiest thing to answer, which is why I said to write down some things about what your interest are. The main thing is to have your main focus on one topic. Whether you can compliment that topic with many other accessories, or not doesn’t really matter because your main topic is your Bull’s-Eye, the accessories are just the outer rings of the target.

If You Want Targeted Traffic

If you want targeted traffic to your site whatever you decide it will be about you have to have one specific topic that is your center focus and will target the traffic you want to get to your site. Does that make sense to you? Everything else is just related to your topic.

That brings us back to our main question, where do you start? How do you choose what Affiliate Program to join, or what topic you should choose from. Or what product it is you would like to promote.

Choose Something You Are Interested In.

You should choose something that you are interested in, something that you know something about, or if you don’t know are willing to research. Something you have a passion about, or that you think is fun and won’t mind spending the time needed to get it all together and working for you. Only you can make that determination, but try to come up with a list of topics so you have a number of items that interest you to choose from.

Choose One Topic To Start With.

From your list you want to only choose one topic to start with. You want to do a little research to see if it is something that is marketable and is going to make you money. You also want to see what kind of competition you may face in your chosen topic. Don’t let any of that scare you, you might have to be a little more creative in the way you market your Idea, or drill down into a less competitive part of that same market, but it is something you will want to know before you invest to much time in an area that is to competitive for you.

Affiliate Marketing has a number of topics that are very competitive and I mentioned two of them at the start of this article, weight loss, and golf. Now that doesn’t mean that you can not break into these markets, but doing so with the broad terms weight loss, and golf would be quite hard to do. You would have to drill down into those markets with your keyword research and find less competitive terms or brand names to base your promotions on.

We will get into keyword research, competition and how to figure it all out later, but you can do a quick check to see if your topic, or idea is something that you might be able to market just by doing a search on your topic and seeing if there are any ads on the results page. Then put your topic in quotes and look to see how many competing pages is shown on the results page.

Results

Results 1 – 10 of about 308,000,000 for “golf”. 308 Million competing pages for the term golf in quotes. As you can see it is a very competitive search term. But it is also a very broad term. This is what I received for “golf swing tips” in quotes. Results 1 – 10 of about 155,000 for “golf swing tips”. Still competitive at 155 thousand pages, but a far cry from 308 Million don’t you think?

Drilling Down In Competitive Markets

I hope from my example above that you see how drilling down into a competitive market you can still compete. Also I hope it gave you an idea on how to look at competition for your chosen topic and get an idea on choosing the right keywords to focus on. It is a pretty basic example, but it does give you a quick idea of your topic’s marketability and competition.

Next up is question number two so I better be getting to work.

Affiliate Marketing

October 20th, 2009  / Author: Link Master

Affiliate Marketing! What is it and why should you care? If you are looking to Make Money Online and are not really sure how, then Affiliate Marketing is a great place to start and I will give you a few reasons in a moment. But first lets explain just what Affiliate Marketing is for those of you who might not know.

Affiliate Marketing is basically finding a product that is produced by someone else and promoting that product. When you make a sale, you earn a commission for that sale. You sign up with a Merchant and they give you a unique ID to use in your promotions. When you make a sale, your ID lets the Merchant know that you made the sale. The Merchant then pays you a commission, or percentage of that sale.

There are Affiliate Programs for just about any product you could ever imagine, so finding a product that you would like to promote is not very hard. That is one of the reasons why Affiliate Marketing is such a great way to get started Making Money Online.

Here are some other reasons that Affiliate Marketing is a great way to get started.

•  You don’t need to create your own product. If your just starting out this is a big step and one that can cost quite a bit of money, plus it usually takes quite a bit of time as well.

•  Signing up is almost always free. So it is a low cost way to get started. I say low cost because you should still get a Domain Name and Hosting for your own site. Which are both pretty cheap these days and easy to do.

•  The Merchant is responsible for customer service, not you. The merchant deals with the customer’s questions concerning the product.

•  The Merchant creates all your promotional tools for you. All of the banner’s, emails, solo ads for ezines, signatures for forums, website, videos, etc. is all done for you.

•  You have a choice of just about any product you can think of to choose from. Choose something that you like, something that you know something about and do a little research to see if it is something that is profitable, and your on your way.

That brings me to my next topic about Affiliate Marketing. With all of the Affiliate Programs and products to choose from, how do you know where to start and with what product to start with?

Two questions that are asked the most are:

Where do I start?

And

What do I do next?

Those are two questions I will try to answer for you, but are too large of a scope to do it in this article. They are articles in themselves and ones I will make sure I get to you, but in this article I wanted to explain what Affiliate Marketing is and why it is a great place to start to Make Money Online.

There are a few things you should ask yourself before you get started

There are a few things you should ask yourself before you get started in finding that right Affiliate program and maybe even write them down. They are going to help you with that first question I mentioned above.

•  What are you interested in? music, games, sports, writing, photography, etc.

•  What do I know about the things I listed above? What I don’t know I can research on the Internet.

•  Can I write about what I know about these things? What I don’t know I can research on the Internet.

•  Of the things I listed, what other products compliment these things?

Examples: Music – mp3 downloads, instruments, sheet music, books etc.

Photography – cameras, equipment, software, software tutorials, books, techniques, etc.

If you already have an offline business

If you already have an offline business and have been thinking of making a website for that business ask yourself what products would compliment your business website.

Everybody is an expert at something

Everybody is an expert at something, or even many things. We all have knowledge accumulated over our lives, work experiences, travels, or handed down from our parents and grandparents. You know a lot more then you think you do and the best way to get that out is to put a piece of paper in front of you with pen in hand and let it come out.

I need to get started on answering those two questions for you so for now make some notes for next time.

Get More Traffic To Your Websites

October 14th, 2009  / Author: Link Master

I just found this new Tool for generating more Traffic to any Link, or Website that you have. It is called Viral Traffic Dominator and I have to say I am quite impressed with the Website. I believe it to be a great addition to anyones Toolbox. I just joined up and I am excited to get started with it. It is Target Specific so you don’t waste time having untargeted visitors to your Links, or Website.

Let me give you a little more information.

Viral Traffic Dominator is a new Website that says it guarantees more CONVERTING visitors and advertising with very little effort or cost. Being able to choose Target Specific categories I can see how they can say that, so I decided to put it to the test and joined up.

My First Impression:

My first impression with the Website is that it looks very professional and has a clean layout, with a nice look and feel to it. Everything is easy to follow and understand. Joining the site was easy, painless and took only a few minutes. They also offer two upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits that the site offers.

The Members Area:

The Members Area is very well laid out and I had no problem figuring out what to do. I was able to get everything up and running in just a few minutes. Inside the Website, you create links and ads. To create the links, you simply enter any of your Links URL into the generator and it transforms them into “Viral Traffic Dominator” links. Once you make your links you could even use our Free Affiliate Link Cloaker to cloak your Viral Traffic Dominator links to give them a more natural look if you like. You can then create ads for anything you want to promote using the Viral Traffic Dominator Ad Generator, which is very simple to use. You can also create as many links and ads as you like. They are all organized in the order you create them but your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference. The link generator is the tool you’ll use most and it is at the top of the main page when you login so you are ready to go as soon as you login.

After You Have Created Your First Link And Ad:

After you have created your first link and ad you can start to generate traffic. Just use and promote the new Viral Traffic Dominator link instead of the original link you had. Every time the Viral Traffic Dominator link is clicked, the page loads followed by a cool non-intrusive slide-up ad window at the bottom of the page. It displays an ad PLUS an image with your affiliate link that links back to Viral Traffic Dominator. If anyone clicks on the Viral Traffic Dominator image and they signup they become your referral. Another great viral feature is that you can build referrals without even trying. Just by using the Website. Find out more about this feature by visiting the Website.

Now each time the ad window displays and your Viral Traffic Dominator links get clicked on you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members’ links get clicked. The more clicks you get, the more credits you earn and the more times your ads get displayed. This is NOT a traffic exchange program that you click on other members ads to earn credits.

This Is Viral:

This is Viral, meaning as you get referrals into Viral Traffic Dominator by promoting it, or just using it and visitors click on the Viral Traffic Dominator image in the ad window to join, you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks. This works up to 5 levels deep, so you can create a Massive amount of Free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Viral Traffic Dominator.

I haven’t had the opportunity to test the full effect of a big downline yet because I just got the tool not to long ago. I can tell you though that the rest of the site works as mentioned. My links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed. Viral Traffic Dominator even tracks your results so you know how many clicks and ad displays you have recieved. That was an remarkable unadvertised extra feature.

Another Benefit And Feature:

Another benefit and feature which might be the best of them all is downline emailing. You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Viral Traffic Dominator really sticks out from the rest. They made the emailing often enough that it’s valuable as a user, but not so often that it burdens your downline. But the best part about this benefit is that it tells you exactly how long before you can mail again. Now THAT’s really cool.

Overall:

Overall I have to say I am impressed with Viral Traffic Dominator. It is simple, powerful, and delivers on its promises. I know this sounds like a big sales pitch, but I truely think this is going to be HUGE. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to increase Targeted Traffic to their Website and Advertising. You should really take a good look at this Tool.
